Meteorology is a science that has been discussed and considered in various sciences, and many plans and designs made in the fields of industry, transportation, construction, agriculture, etc., according to the climatic characteristics of each region.

The agricultural sector is one of the sectors that is greatly affected by climatic conditions and any change in climatic conditions and characteristics of each region can have a great impact on plant yield. Therefore, it is very important to study the weather conditions in the agricultural sector.

The meteorological station of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources was built in the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources to accurately measure climate change, as well as to educate students. This station includes accurate tools and equipment to measure the factors of temperature, radiation, humidity, wind direction and speed, rainfall and evaporation, etc.
